This place has the best southern fried everything! Not a chain, local, reasonably priced. Not greasy, or over seasoned. Chicken livers are our favorite. You arent going for the atmosphere rather the food which is great.

"There Ain't No Chicken like the Shrimp Boat Chicken" They have the absolute best fried chicken there is, period. I have been eating at the Shrimp Boat for 30 years and I have never had a bad meal. They make their own cocktail sauce and it is warm. If you like fried chicken, this place is a must.
There is plenty of room to park and eat. Great food! The chicken livers & fries dipped in delicious tarter sauce were a fantastic meal. Highly recommend.

Cash only, but great food, and the best bananna pudding anywhere. I just wish resturant pricing would back down a bit. I have eaten there since 99, and its the best food, but remembering a 10 meal that is now 22! That is for the 1/4 chicken plate, with hushpuppies and fries, with a large ice tea and a bananna pudding, so a great deal by todays inflated rates! Inflation SUCKS! But Shrimp boat is fantastic!
